:suspect: Are you serious? Did you notice that the giant yellow banner that has been at the top of every forum page for the past month announcing that the shitty Photopost Classifieds were going away has also disappeared?

The banner said:
For about the last 3-1/2 years, there have been two ways to post classified ads on cadillacforums.com - the old system, based on the Photopost Classifieds software, and the Cadillac Classifieds Marketplace, based on the VBulletin software that the rest of the site uses. In order to streamline the site, over the next month the Photopost Classifieds system is going to be phased out. As of today, May 5th, the ability to post new ads in the Photopost Classifieds has been disabled; all new ads must be created in the appropriate Cadillac Classifieds Marketplace forum.

Existing ads in the Photopost Classifieds will remain in place for the next month, and forum members may continue to use those ads to conduct business as they have in the past. However, one month from today the entire Photopost Classifieds section will be removed from the site. There is no function in the Photopost or VBulletin software to allow ads from one to be automatically transferred to the other. Therefore, any CF.com members that have ads in the Photopost Classifieds that they would like to keep posted must recreate the ad(s) in the Cadillac Classifieds Marketplace by starting new threads in the appropriate forum. Again, that is not something that can be done automatically or that the site administrators or moderators can do for you; the ads have to be re-posted by the forum member.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but the end result is that we'll have a single system for all classified ads, and forum members will no longer have to deal with the cumbersome and user-unfriendly Photopost Classifieds software. If you have any questions or suggestions about the revised Cadillac Classifieds Marketplace please let us know in the Help Desk forum.
CTS-V stuff can be posted in the CTS classifieds forums, as many of the parts cross over from one to the other.

I didn't notice actually.

Now I know :)

It just makes it inconvenient to look in the other section since they aren't linked very well. Is there any way to put a hot-link to the CTS Classifieds where our old classifieds section used to be?

I didn't want those links to disappear, they should've just been changed to route to the Classifieds Marketplace. I've suggested to the admins that they restore them.
