I searched the threads and saw that Stealth and some others had reccommended placing the jack just behind the green dots and the jack stands just in front of the green dots. I am trying to change my front brake pads this morning and can't find any green markings. I am looking near the arrow pointing to the place to use a jack on a regular CTS but cannot find the green marker. I am looking on the rail just inboard of where the rocker panel ends the lip begins and the frame rail behind it. Is that frame behind the lip for the stock jack the place? I don't want to jack from that point and punch a hole through the frame. Any instruction or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!:hmm:

Re: Where are the green "dots" that you jack thr car from

Thank you VERY MUCH Rick. As usual you are generous in your support of V owners. I am looking forward to purchasing your version of the plug in handheld that will allow me to bump the HP and torque but return it to stock for dealer service. Thanks again!

I use the jack points that are shown in the FAQ but have high density orange practice hockey pucks placed on the jack. (Looks like similar Craftsman jack too)

I picked up two of the pucks at a local hockey rink for a couple bucks each. A couple of the Penguins use them in practice and are called Kovey pucks by the guys at the rink. I'm sure they have a different name in other cities.

(still lookin' for the Pens first win)
