Ok, I have a Black CTS and I want to get some 20's. Should I go with chrome wheels or black with a chrome lip?

You can get a real good look at the second choice by looking at RobertCTS's ride, he's into the stealthier look with the black wheels. It's a clean look that works, the other way is more blingy but can look better in my opinion if you have the chrome wheel that isn't a huge chromed center. Definitley go with what torque's your motor.

I've had both chrome and black. The chrome did rust a bit. The chrome also required far more maintenance and cleaning where the black does not. I get by far more compliments with the black. Chrome is sorta common. Here's some pics. The last pic file is huge for your close examination.

black with chrome lip. i love my white dimaond, but unfortunately i'm not sure it would mate with black wheels...and for that i regret. i love the racing/stealthy look that black wheels have. must have a chrome lip though.

thats exactly what i needed. 125 for painted works for me...just need to decide whether to get it now or wait for the holiday fiasco to be over with...with these headers it might be a slightly "tight" holiday...

It says order by 12/11/05 for xmas delivery. Mine took a while because I had it prepianted. Thet job out the painting so it slows down the process. I bet the local bodyshop would do it for near $125 they charge.

yeah ypu're right, i would probably get it primed and just have somebody do it. the guy who was going to paint my grill would probably do it for like 80 or 90. i bookmarked the site for when i'm ready...

If the painter already has the paint loaded for the grill the spoiler should be a piece of cake to do.

I have several parts at Cadillac MotorSports right now getting "Black Chromed". One part is the chrome strip above the grill. It should look very stealth with the painted grill.:yup:

Thanks.... One of my friends has Foose speedster wheels black w/chrome lip....
Keep in mind if you find a wheel you like most wheel companies can have them painted black w/chrome lip... Many of the wheels on the market are black w/polished lip and over time the lip looks dull. I highly recommend MHT they painted his and they look unbelievable.......

next season i'll probably get a set like dubbed for my white diamond. dub, big homies. i'll get the 18x8.5 though, versus his 20x8.5's. i just can't justify putting 20's on my car here in michigan...
