Hey y'all! I'm new here but I have been stalking all these threads for awhile now. I've had my ATS for a year now and have been nothing short of pleased with it. It's so much fun to drive and I never get tired of looking at her!

I'm ready to go ahead and buy rims and tires and I just need a little motivation I guess! I really like the 19" xo milans but I've yet to see any on an ats. Unless something else "wows" me, that's probably what I'll be investing in. Would you guys please post pics of your black ats and rims with specs!

It will be easier to run through the large ATS Pic thread in this section of the forum. Majority are black anyway. Hope potholes aren't an issue where you live at.

Checked out the xo milans, nice design but only found them in matte black. I'm an old guy from the old school and prefer polished aluminum especially on a black car. I just bought a 15 ATS Coupe Phantom Gray w/Morello Red interior with stock polished aluminum wheels. The dark body and polished wheels create a beautiful contrast. Just my opinion, do what you are most comfortable with and enjoy.

Thanks, the potholes aren't bad, it's all the railroad tracks I'm worried about. Southwest Louisiana.

I really like this polished look rather than "black on black", have you lowered it any in this pic?

I agree with you, since seeing some with it I'm beginning to lean towards that look. I actually prefer the "cleaner" look but I really like the way the milans were spoked and concaved. I guess I'll just have to keep looking ?

Have them powdercoated in gunmetal. Gunmetal looks awesome on a black car.

I agree, I'll very likely go with gunmetal again on my black ATS when I can figure out what wheels I want. Had gunmetal on my GLI and loved the look.

To answer your question, no my ATS is not lowered. Stock height, but the 19s fit perfectly in the wheel-well to me.

So I took delivery of my black on black 2015 ATS today - super excited, at some point I want the yellow caliper brakes (maybe red; i've got time) - and a slight tint. I like the stock rims so far - but i dig the black rims on that thing...
