Any reason I cannot replace my 1989 Eldorado 15" Vogue wheels with the chromed 7 spoke 16" wheels off a 98 Seville, other than the aesthetics?

You need to know the wheel bolt patterns, offset, lug sizes, lug nut type, original tire size, and whether the wheel indexes on the bolt pattern or center hub bore.

A good tire shop with updated Hollander Interchange books can give you the answers.
