This is my first post on the site, I must say there is a lot of good info on here.

Well I have been trying to find the easiest way to get a drag radial on my 09 V and it looks like the only option is an 18'' wheel. My question is if anyone knows of any OEM wheels have the same or close offsets as these cars such as corvette, 04-07 cts-v, etc.?? I am looking for an inexpensive option since I will only be using them at the track. I am up for any suggestions.

make sure you get the oem ones cause they are ALOT lighter than take offs..

and if you ever get that damn pullie.....wait4me i could really put those drag radials to good use !!!

lol Well that is just awsome news! How much did they weight? Im 8lbs lighter per wheel/tire combo with mine. For a total of about 32lbs lost.. All rotating mass so that is good.. But hell for $400 bucks to get something close that is awsome! Much cheaper than every other route. I was just told though when i got mine fitted, that there was nothing close to fitting except for what i got, and it was from a older car non gm..

With the V1s and Stabilitrac, we had to worry about keeping the ride heights about the same from front to rear when running a staggered set of tires (this is EXACTLY why GMs decision to run 285s in the rear, rather than 295 is so strange, if not downright stupid, as 255/40 with 295/35 is about as good as you can get in terms of equal tire heights, but it is fair to say that 255/45 works well with 285/40).

Is this something of concern with the V2 or can we run any combo we want and not worry?

What would be really cool would be to run 275/40 front, with 315/35 rear. Equal tire height, yet a lot more rubber on the road.

Actually, come to think of it, I don't even know how wide our rims our front and rear... lol
