Once in a while I turn the car on and my entire display is nothing but lines. (No Nav) Radio works but no wording or numbers. Also if I turn on the fog lights (knob all the way forward on the stick) the lights will then not turn off automatic. It stays that way (with me having to turn the lights on and off)until it decides to go back the way it was. Anybody else with this problem?

I have the same problem with my radio. When it hapens with my car it forgets all the information in the trip odeometer and witch cd that was last played.

That has happened to my '05 also. I usually just turn it off and on again. Usually works for me. I don't know if it makes me feel better or worse that others are having the same problem.

Same thing happened to me and it returned to normal. A short time later, the cigarette lighter 12V outlet also failed to work. I was out of town at the time and the local Cadillac service manager said this was common for the double failure which was corrected with a new 12V connection and the changing of two fuses. I hope he was correct.
