Whats best for cleaning the Nav screen?

I'm scared to do anything except wipe of the screen with a dry cloth. That doesn't work well. Don't want to damage it. What works best and won't smear the finger prints already there?

Computer monitor screen wipes work great for this and the visors on motorcycle helmets.

:yeah:
available from staples or office depot and the like
haven't we already discuss this... oh well i'll say it again. i use the soft rag that came with my Oakley shades works great removing dust and finger prints without scratching that expensive nav unit.
I used Bon Ami. Now everywhere I drive looks the same on my nav...
just wet a paper towl a bit with a water and wipe, then dry any remaining water

You live in SoCal. Everywhere looks the same anyway.

(just give me a second to zip up my flame suit before your reply)

I can't disagree. When you've seen one part of Paradise, you've seen it all. :nyanya:
I bought a 3M electronics cloth from staples for $5. Works well, I also bought the Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish and was rather disappointed with it. Did not repair the fine scratches on the screen. :crying:

Windex works fine.... I've been usin it for two years on my nav with no issues.

I would be careful using windex.. It has ammonia in it which MAY break down the anit-reflective coating after some time (obviously not in two years, but who's to say what will happen at 5)....

I use Novus plastic polish and a micro cloth on all clear plastic. Put the polish on the cloth, do not spay onto screen.
