Mine has both CF packages. The front CF splitter only has 5" of clearance and if you put the car on a hook or try to pull it onto a flatbed it will ruin the splitter. You were given two yellow spring snubbers in the trunk when you bought the car. Keep them in the trunk. One nice thing is the tow hook, but that is most useful if your car will roll and you can use a flatbed. Nevertheless getting it on and off the flatbed should be done with the snubbers installed. They are easily installed if the front suspension is even slightly in droop. So raise the front a few inches and simply slide the snubbers onto the lower part of your front springs. Let the car down and in compression your ground clearance has increased to 7" from the normal 5". Also there is now restricted movement in the front suspension whether you are on a flatbed or on a normal hook.

For some reason my new BW quit recognizing the fobs. So even though the fobs would work actively, locking and unlocking the door and even starting the engine with the remote start, without a fob being recognized by the BCM, it will not shift out of park nor will the steering wheel work. So I had to have a regular tow truck come out.

Luckily my operator was a Hellcat owner and understood a low and different car. We actually pulled one front wheel before we realised the wheel doesn't need to come off to get the snubbers on the springs as simply being a bit in droop allows you to reach over the top of the tire and install the snubbers. Without those snubbers he would have been bouncing the splitter along the ground the entire 9.3 miles to my dealer.

BTW, the Dealer service writer had no idea what it would take to bring one of the BWs in on a hook or flatbed. And frankly didn't seem to give a shit either. Too many SUVs in their shop I suppose. We have much the same problem a Z06 owner has dealing with a Chevrolet dealership. Total unfamiliarity with the product we own.

Good point. Yes I did. For those that don't know the rear most cup holder is the place to put the fob if you have trouble with the car recognizing the fob. And actually the Dash will tell you to do that if no fob is detected.

In my case the Body Control Module went bad. They have ordered the part and I should get the car back tomorrow.
