Purchased a used cts. what years should I avoid or engines should I avoid. I dont want problems.

Car will be out of warranty.

Typically you are better off with the newest car you can afford...

I say go for the 2009 CTS-V, black on black, 6 speed manual with the Recaros

I hear they're pretty reliable so far.
