What would you do to a junk yard transmission before you would have it put in your car. I am looking at one that has 81,000 miles on it and it says it tested good (I am waiting on a e-mail to see how it was tested). What would you replace if this was your car. Solenoids? Filters?

Just trying to get some ideals

Edit:

It is a 95 Seville STS :D

You didn't tell us how much or how far the yard is. I don't like buying things that have a lot of shipping. I like to verify the condition. I've gotten burned too many times.

I saw this transmission on E.bay few days ago with no reserve. Only a starting bid of $100. There were no bids. Sounds like it is 4 times more expensive now.
