Back in the late 60's early 70's when cars were dirt cheap and fueled by $0.45/gallon gasoline, teenagers were rushing to buy loud, powerful muscle cars. What were some of the prices of these muscle cars, now a mint-condition muscle car can range from $10,000 to $4,000,000, but what did they cost "way back when"?

Here's what I'm wondering, What was the MSRP of the following cars back when they were new back in the hay-day of muscle cars?:

1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS-
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-
1969 Dodge Charger R/T-
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T-
1970 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda-
1970 Plymouth Road Runner-
1969 Pontiac GTO "The Judge"-

If anyone could post a site that lists the MSRP's of new muscle cars back in the 60's/70's, it would be appreciated.

P.S. Which car was the envy of all others from my list?

I have a 1973 Fleetwood ad and the thing started at like $5,500 or something like that. I also have a Buick from the same year that said "Starting at $3,500." I remember seeing that and being like, "Damn dude."

Yeah it did, my old 78 Fleetwood came in at nearly 15k new.

I know the cadillac history site and cadillac ready reckoner both list base prices for Caddys, but I dunno about other brands.
