I am looking for pre-loaded front struts for my 2003 SLS. I see on the Delco OEM ones, there is a wire and module on them (Wayy to expensive) I was looking at Gabriel brand, and there is no module and wire on those. Is the module and wire only for the STS, or do I not need that? I am in dire need of front struts and springs.

I know that there is a loaded on for the Deville, but nothing else for the Seville. Be sure to do the mounts, bearings, and insulators too.

He's repairing a SLS, so the suspension is passive unless the car was optioned with the active system. ........ and it's a 2003 SLS which never had the F55 system.

CaptainVintage, look on the service parts (RPO) sticker under the spare tire cover. If your car has inactive (passive, no connectors for electrical controls) suspension the code will be FE1 - soft suspension. If the suspension is active it would have something like FE3 - F45 or F55. FE3 is "sport suspension".

To decipher the RPO codes, Google "cadillac seville 2003 rpo code list" or something close. That will tell you what's built into your car.
