Saw A Wire Was Broken Going To The Air Clearner. Also Did The Disconnect The Battery Thing. Check Engine-emissions Message Went Out After Doing Above.

Have Code Pc 0113 On My 96 Caddy Deville. Looked It Up It. Is Hi-temp Sensor High Voltage. What Is Importance Of This Code And How Do I Fix It? Thanks

P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
The broken wire you saw is to the IAT sensor and that is what triggered the DTC. Leaving it broken causes the PCM to substitute a default value. I forget what it is, but the engine will not be running at its optimum. If the default value is low, it will be running it on the rich side and vice versa. BTW, the DTC will return once you start the engine.

Yes I Did Fix The Wire That Day. I Had Taken It To A Shop To Repair Lower Rad. Hose. They Had To Take Off Air Cleaner To Do The Job.
