P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
The broken wire you saw is to the IAT sensor and that is what triggered the DTC. Leaving it broken causes the PCM to substitute a default value. I forget what it is, but the engine will not be running at its optimum. If the default value is low, it will be running it on the rich side and vice versa. BTW, the DTC will return once you start the engine.
