Yes i 4300k is the brightest whitest light you can get in HIDs, they are 3x brighter than halogen but once you go into higher temps like 6000k 8000k etc. you get less visibility out of your lights. i purchased mine locally at a place called RADIO CLINIC.... most car shops that do aftermarket upgrades like audio, tint, or any of that stuff can get you some nice HIDs. i looked around before getting mine to see the best deals because they all buy from different retailers. mine came with 1 year warranty on the bulb and ballast so i went with those.stock kelvin for Escalade HIDs are 4300k? Where did you purchase your HIDs for your fogs?
:yeah:Hi I'm new here too. I had the same question too. The best way and really only way to really match it would be to buy a HID kit for your highbeams. The stock temp of your HIDs is 4300k. 4300k is the brightest color light you can get on HIDs too. Honestly though i turned against this because HIDs take a little while to warm up before they are bright and running at their best, and you don't usually have your high beams on that long so i decided to stick with my stock highbeams and instead put HIDs in the fog lights. That makes all the difference in the world. In fact you can turn your headlights off and drive with your foglights they are so bright haha. Anyways good luck with whatever you decide.
Yes also stock HIDs will last the life of the car but aftermarket is only good for about 3-5000 hours before the ballast goes out and you have to replace the HiDs:yeah:
You also cycle the high beams on and off very frequently, which (I'm told) can shorten the life of the ballasts. With HIDs you could not use your high beams to flash other drivers because of the warm up time.
