Does the 2010 CTS wagon with 3.6 liter engine which has direct injection use the
E69 #12617230 ECM ?

And if so does any of the laptop type tuning tools like LS2edit support this PCM ?

Or does it use like a E38 or E39 ECM ?

This correct ?
If it is an E39 it should say ACdelco and E39 on the white label.
If it is an E69, it should say Bosch on the label.

Thanks

i've got a 2008 cts mpfi. recently getting crazy fuel injector codes. #1 #3 and #5 fuel injector open, #1 #3 and #5 injector circuit low, #1 #3 and #5 injector misfire, random misfire...car runs like S*** obviously, i bring it to the dealer and of course it runs fine on the way, but he pulled those codes. i'm curious if there is a fuel injector control module that may be going bad, OR if the BCM/ECM do the fuel injector controlling?

noshelter, did you ever get any replies to your injector questions?
We have a 2009 CTS, 3.6 V6 Direct Drive. Low miles, 38000, and we've replaced injectors 3 times so far. First time was 1 around 10,000 mi, second time was 2 around 22,000 mi, now it's 2 more at 38,000mi.
At 38000 its out of warranty.

Well if you need to get this thread back on track here you go... for the 2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6L Direct Injestion used the Bosch ME962 ECU Type, from 2008-2011 the CTS with the DI engine used the Bosch ECU LLT 3.6L DI Engine, in 2012 it was replaced with the Delco ECU LFX 3.6L DI which is still currently being used in many GM vehicles. Note: Early 2008-2009 CTS also had a optional 3.6L MPFI LY7 engine (multi-port FI) non-DI 3.6L

We support this engine type in Asia and Europe, when we attempted to manually simulate the ECU type for North America the hardware ID are different than the overseas models. If we had a local vehicle in Phoenix, AZ or had an ECU physically in house to directly flash via BDM we could then determine the coding for the North American vehicles and support this via IPF Tuning. So if any volunteers want to send us there ECU or vehicle we could make this happen.

Man I don't understand tuning houses like yours. You have been talking about arranging a donor vehicle or getting an ECU for more than a year. The way I see it if you guys could do this or had much motivation / business case to do this, you would have quit waiting and gotten an LY7 ECU from a junkyard CTS a long time ago! You wouldn't be waiting around for over a year for some poor schlub to take the ECM off of his LY7 CTS and leave it unoperational for a few weeks while you guys work your magic to produce another driveability tune only to turn around and sell it to him for $500 bucks.

I have gotten used to the fact that no tuner has demonstrated skill or desire in the US to support this great car (all LY7 CTS's). I have accepted it and enjoy just driving my 07 LY7 CTS with what GM and the aftermarket has already provided us with and I'm keeping my 08 LLT CTS stock. So please stop getting the hopes of us 1st and 2nd gen CTS owners up for nothing.

You weren't able to provide the 2nd gen customers on the market with any forced induction solutions of whatsoever and neither did you help 1st gen CTS owners achieve anything due to your lack of motivation. And on top of it, you didn't provide the promised vbox 0-60 and quarter mile times for the LLT tune which you guys have promised as well. The best you were able to achieve is change some shift points for the second gen CTS at $500 a pop I'll give you that.
In the meantime color me unimpressed. Thank you, thank you very much.

Indeed the performance aftermarket for the 1st and and 2nd gen CTS is pitiful at best. Meanwhile, somehow every other V6 & V8 luxury car is running around with aftermarket super and turbocharged solutions like it's no one's business.

You can't tune North American LY7 cars just say it and we'll say thanks for trying.
