Same here. Announcer puppeteers are known to suppress really bad news. When a corner-worker ran under a rear tire of Willy T. Ribbs' Indycar, the announcers soon reported he had a broken arm. It had been shown briefly at normal speed but if you played it back in slo-mo on your VCR, he looked like a sack of laundry when he landed. Yeah, he had a broken arm, along with every other bone in his body. That flashed in my mind when they announced well after the race that Newman injuries were not life threatening and hoped that wasn't because he was already dead.The longer I watched Monday afternoon the more concerned I got.
