For a 79 Coupe Deville, What performance carb and intake will clear the stock hood?

I would think that you need to know how much room you have in the stock configuration, and add whatever rise an aftermarket manifold has, above the stock height. There are air cleaners which have a raised center, which would help with more clearance. Which engine?? 368??

Did you check out the pages on the "stickys" in the headings line here, for ideas on your question?? Lot's of stuff there, generated by folks here who have "been there" on the 425. It may have all the answers you would want.
