I've been learning all about my new SRX, loading music, phone stuff, personalization, etc. etc. So tonight while driving, I noticed two clear plastic pieces on each side of my Speedometer. Not sure the purpose except for looks. Do they light up or warning lights, or something? See attached picture.

They blink off and on in a green color when you signal left or right. Think of them as emeralds...lol. I`m guessing Cadillac considers them as part of the "bling" factor

Heyyyy ... If you turn on your Hazard Warning, you will get to see both illuminated.
At the same time.
Off subject, but there seems to be a smattering of resentment and demeaning of
"seasoned citizens" on some of these threads. Perhaps, just a tad.
For those, I would wish to remind you that if it hadn't been for those previous
seasoned citizens, you would be speaking German today, and eating sauerkraut.
Or, in my instance, speaking Korean/Chinese, and eating rice cakes!

Here in Austin we have bumper stickers that read, "Your turn signal is not a novelty item."

HEY! What do you have against rice cakes! :tisk:

No man. I'm serious. I eat them at work all the time. Seriously.

(And i don't have resentment for old people. EXCEPT for the ones that park by SOUND! :mad:)

I'm going to be old someday, i want to be the angry dude on the porch yelling at kids: "Eh you kids! Get off my lawn!" "quit wasting water!" and "Damn whipper snappers!"

:rofl::cheers:

Any time I am feeling down, I check in to the forum and am fairly assured to get a few good laughs and a ton of amusement. In MA we don't have a problem with folks driving around with their turn signals left on mile after mile. By and large, I don't think the born and bred MA drivers know they have been invented, and that is what the left stalk is for.
