Hey All, I just aquired a 2002 Diamond Pearl Escalade, and am ready to axe those little Stock rims. What would you guys reccomend as to some nice 22" rims that are good quality, but not on the super expensive side. I was looking at the Areco Highwaystar's and they seem pretty nice. Anything else I should check out? Also how about tires, what is reccomended. I know that with 22's I should get 305 45 22's.

they only have the 20's on but those look good on escalades.
Are you looking for rims that just looks good or rims that are functional as in weight saving?
BTW welcome to cadillacforums.com

I had the opportunity to speak to the VP over a period of a few days recently. I really like their philosophy. It seems the President of the company has a weight target of 35lb's and won't release a wheel until they can make a quality wheel at or below that target.

Some other companies making 22"+ wheels don't have that philosphy and you can not only end up adding weight, but effecting your suspension in very negative ways.

I would assume that other companies with years of experience also abide by this philosphy too.

You could try:

I'm considering using them for my Fleetwood.

Go with at least 23's. I have them, and they look nice....however, I wish at had the choice of going 24s, but Cadillac dealer dont have them. I cannot tell you whats the brand name. I didnt pay attention to it, but im happy w/ the rim style. Tires are Toyo, i think.

Good luck shopping
