I'm gone a couple days, return the other day & avitars/names are not where I want them (beside the post, not above it), clicking on a smilie to insert it into a post does nothing, & clicking on "[More]" (to get to the big page of smilies) also does NOTHING. I've been into my control panel a couple times, settings have NOT been changed, yet the board behaves as though I have NO control.

Anyone else have this problem using Firefox, or could it be something on my end (something I highly doubt, but you NEVER KNOW with these wonderful electronic marvels)?

Just tried to attach a pic & THAT won't work either! :annoyed:

Yeah, I've also noticed that when you click reply, its no longer a pretty looking text box, its all death gray now and also, the topics don't have titles at the top of them anymore. Sal, did we get new forums software i guess?

i have firefox and had the same problem. Sal told me to delete all my cookies and that should fix the it. i did that and it did fix it. good luck and hope you get it figured out.

i have firefox and had the same problem. Sal told me to delete all my cookies and that should fix the it. i did that and it did fix it. good luck and hope you get it figured out.

Yes. We upgraded. Do a hard refresh (CTRL-F5) and clear your cadillacforums.com cache/cookies... It'll work then..

OK, claered cookies & cleared cache last night. Now the smilies all work correctly, but I still can't move the names/avatars to the side. Curiuous... :hmm: Guess I'll just have to get used to it.

I did the same thing, avatars still on top. I liked them on the left side too. I double-checked the setting in my profile, it hasn't changed from before. I don't get it. :hmm:

im seeing both of your avatars on the left of your names, maybe its your computer?

I can see pics and avatars and such but bringing up the message windows is painfully slow. This is a new thing. It will put up the black menu bar and a blue screen beneath it, but sometimes it takes 30 seconds to display the message. Normally I'd suspect a PC, but it does it on all of them. Same with posting new messages. I hit 'submit' and it just sits there - no little windows flag moving in the corner or anything. Eventually it posts. It used to be pretty quick.

Try Firefox and let me know how that works.. I'm not sure what the issue could be regarding speed - but this is the first I've heard of it..

The avatar's being on the side was a special modification that's not available for this version yet...

I've always prefered setting my options to see the avatars underneath the name, and the option is there still to adjust that, but it still stays on the side.....

no biggie though...
