So on my way home from work last night, I'm at a stoplight and this blue G6 GT Sedan pulls up next to me, and I saw that she was driving real aggressively, so I figured she would wanna play. Light goes green, we both take off hard and I take 'er to the floor from about a 15 roll (hate doing it from a stop, just spins the tires and makes noise) and until I let off at about 55 (in a 45 lol) she's right next door to me. I can literally look over and make eye contact with her the entire time, lol, and finally at about 50-55 she inches past me FTW.

Then, later that night, as I'm going to Denny's for a meat lover's omelette with my buddy, we pull up next to 4 teenagers in a 92-93ish Bonneville SE at a stoplight, and the light turns green and I take off semi casually and I hear that car wind out so I punch it and pull away FTW. Beat 'em pretty good too, and that 3.8 in the Bonnie is a pretty strong engine. I've wanted to race a FWD 3.8 car for so long, I've always wondered how they'd stack up against mine.

Let's see here, the statistics...

G6 GT:
3.5L V6, 201hp, 222 lb/ft
0-60: 7.9 seconds
1/4 mile: 16.1 @ 86
3.91:1 Final drive ratio

1992-93 Bonneville SE
3.8L V6, 170hp, 220 lb/ft
0-60: 8.6-9.5
1/4 mile: 16.5-17.0

Yeah, I know the G6's aren't fast or anything, but I knew they've been consistently good for a 7.8-8.0 second 0-60 time, atleast in the GT form, so it's nice to know that my car will hang with them, which would mean that my car's in the high seven, low 8 second range too.

nice kills. I smoked a G6 GTP in my Mark VIII about a month ago, it wasn't even a challenge. Had 3 car lenghts on him by 80 MPH. BTW Do the 88 devilles have the same engine as yours? I used to have an 88 deville with a 4.5 liter, I think. That car had really smooth acceleration.

No, the '88-90 deVilles have the 4.5 liter V8, and in 88-89 it was throttle body injected, in '90 it was switched to port fuel injection and in '91 they started production of my motor, the 4.9.
