LOL, It wasn't in my V though.. haha
I thought people would be saying "15.5's wtf" :thepan:
Any way I went to the track to hang out with some of my truck friends and to make a couple passes with the Sierra. It's the first time she has been to the track and I even left the 33's on it.. There wasn't any V's there so I was a little bummed..
Here is a pic of the lowest 15.5 time slip, made three runs and they were all 15.5's not terrible for a 4x4 truck but could be much better with a few mods.. haha Now I just have to get the V back to the track now that the weather is getting nice and cool...:yup:

Sounds like you were having fun. I saw a guy run 14.1 in an H2 tonight. I am not sure what he had done to it. He left for about twenty minutes then came back. I figure he went to get gas.

14.1 in an H2 is a very nice time, a little laughing gas sounds about right to get her that low.. lol

Most likely within the next couple of weeks. I just need to change out the exhaust and put a couple more hundred break-in miles on the diff. Then she should be ready for some 12.7's.. I figure I will just skip over the 12.8's and go from 12.9's down to the 12.7 range. lol That is my plan anyway...:shhh:

Well i did my my run in my modded V, my best AFTER i changed rear tires, i ran a 11.9.. but i was losing alot of traction... im going again next week. I just got it tuned with my efi live and i need to get a little more advance on the spark, im thinkn to moving it to almost 20.. i will scan my slip when wifey gets back with tahoe, its up in the visor.. but it was a good run, and that was not running 101, or 103 that was straight 98 premium. with better fuel, and since i chnged my plugs out, got rid of those plats, went with V-power ngk tr6's it runs damn smooth.. i was a little rusty off the line, been 3 years for me to get use to the tree lights again.. next time i know what and when to do it. im working on it for sure. i was running a 102 fever, really sick that night.. but im on antibiotics and im going t try to beat that.. let ya know soon... i need to get my website again so i can post film of this, and next one.. before i sell her..

BliTzer,
Wow, an 11.9.....:worship: Congratulations what was your trap speed?
I think you are the first "11 second Club" V owner and that is awesome..
Great job my friend....:worship: :yup:

Reed,
I figured it would get a few of you... :histeric: I think if you would just run out 1st and 2nd in the V then through it in neutral and coast the rest of the way down the 1320 you would still do better than a 15.5 haha:cheers:

Well first of all all the first runs were in 12's.. i had to change all tires and get off the 20's.. i used slicks on back, and went to 18's back on the front but, really small 18's to drop alot of weight.. the20's would not cut it at all.. i took out the spare, full size spare in trunk, took out all the panels, back seat different other misc things.. i dropped around 400 pounds of weight on the car.. our car is so freaking heavy..
but i did srtip alot of weight. the tireswhere the main recipe though.. when i finally got those baby's (track slicks) TO HOOK, that was the key.. i have it on tape.. i will post video of all 9 runs.. including the shitty ones first.. then you can see how i climb the ladder.. thnax for the comps guys..

we need to hhave a huge group meet somewhere guys, somewhere in the center that equals the distance tomake it fair for all.. wouldd really enjoy meeting more of you.. i have met lik 8 i think so far.. but lets think on it ok..

Wny not just lock it, it is not V related?
I wonder the same thing. Shit, they were on my thread before I could edit my link. I just got it in under the wire cos after I refreshed to double-check it was locked with the explanation, "Bad link, not V related." :cookoo:

Just a play on words there.. I am still trying to figure out who decides what is "for sale" what is "V related", what gets locked. I think the thread was "Hijacked". But it seems to depend on WHO does it.
