just bought a 2006 white diamond ext and its sweet buying new 22 inch rims next week in my opinion a must have. if others dont like em im with 22s im with you also. any way, if im trying to program my remote to open my garage i do have rolling code on my door. is there a certain way to do so without removing or changing all the other vehicles codes. or am i wrong on this :yawn: HELP p.s. im new here and appreciate any help.

Thats a good question. I know it was easy to program the rolling code. I don't know if other vehicles are affected by it though. My two other vehicles at the time didn't have that function. Let us know what happens.

Dont worry it wont change the other vehicles codes. I did it with my 05 and my other two vehicles stayed exactly the same.

sure enough it erased all my other vehicles and the handheld remote the minute i hit the rolling code button:hmm: .

Cadillac has the WORST garage programer EVER!!! It took forever to get it to work, and I still have no clue what made it work, b/c I did the same thing over and over and over, then of course it erased the other openers on that door too. Every other car you just push the program button and it automatically takes it without having to reprogram the others. Hoperfully they fix this for 07.

this is true, my jeep is so much easier to program. and it accepts more remotes

No problem on mine.(03) Took 5 minutes and everything else is fine.

The Caddy's are very easy to program, hold the garage door opener button on the remote and the button on your truck that you want to use, when the blinking changes push the button on the garage door opener (usually red button on the unit) and it's programmed.
