Hey guys, first time poster, long time follower. I've had three Cadillacs thus far - 1972 Coupe Deville, 1997 Deville, and, currently, a 1998 Deville. On my 98, I've noticed a weird "clicking" sound coming from the motor. So I took off the beauty cover, and found that the noise is coming from the passenger side of the motor by the belt. I have no idea what it is, or what it could be. Help please!!

Probably an idler or tensioner pulley with a bearing getting loud or going out. Take the main drive belt off and if goes away it's in the drive system and time for a mechanic stethoscope and some time.
