Hello

Just received a set of OEM brake pads for the front axle. I noticed that 2 of the pads are labeled "L" and 2 of them are labeled "R". They look identical except for where the wear tabs are. The pads I took off the driver side had both wear tabs on the top.

I ask because if I wished to duplicate this the L the the R would not follow any logical pattern as far as "Left and right"

Does the orientation of the wear tab matter? I'd assume it has to do with the directional rotation of the rotor while moving forward at high speeds as opposed to reverse where speeds are low. But I'm not going to assume which is why I'm here to ask the experts

thanks

"notifiers" okay. I heard them referred to as squeakers before as well. I'm glad it makes no difference.

Nothin' like a set of fresh new rotors and pads. My adapative cruise control braking seems quieter too.
