We had some really killer air last night in Houston. The DA was -1500.

I made 3 passes and the car was flying! My old best was a 11.3 @ 124 mph.

Hit the limiter. Still working on the 1-2 shift.

Best part is the car drives 100% live a stock V. Its amazing how great these cars are!

Hey Troy, come Spring, I'm sure you'll be a member of the 10 sec. club too!

:shhh::canttalk::whistle: Gotta work to keep up with you first! You should put your stock airbox on and get fastest stock V honours. Mum's the word for now...


Mike what RPM are you shifting at? Are you shifting it or just putting it in sport mode and letting it do it for you?

Based on Mike's dyno numbers between stock air box( even w/ bottom cut out) and the Airraid cai no need to go back and slower!
Certainly appears to be advantage Airraid. Still have yours.

My unit is sold, going a different direction with mine, I like the looks of this one, reminds me of my Buick...


All these new posts with people at the track is getting to me, only two/three more months...

Congrats on the 10 second pass. You deserve it! Do you have any sound clips of the car not in a track or dyno setting? From what I can tell it sounds phenomenal. I was thinking on going with the same exhaust setup and don't want it to be too loud for the street.

I think the gains would be very similar to some extent, looks like tuning is the big question in regards to the utmost effectiveness of the unit. Getting that air/fuel ratio where you need it to be for max power etc. Lots of variables here as well, was the maf clean before/after installation etc... Either way it appears to be working good for him and you and I'm sure many others. I'm happy with my setup sitting on the bench...
