My 2001 catera was running fine,after I replaced the auxilery water pump,water started pouring out quicklly,I finally found out where. Bending over from the drivers side,stick your hand down touching the flat back of engine,I looked with a mirror and the water is pouring out a half inch hole,what go's in there? can't find anything about it..Thanks Kip

The cylinder head has freeze plugs of it's own. Damn that sucks if you ahve to pull the head off!!
You should be able to replace it without pulling the head, if it is the head. might be just enough room.
