Ok i got water in the trunk. and the front right side under dash.

The trunk i have no clue where its comming from, but its a bit damp. Is there a common spot for the trunk?

And inside it is comming form the pass side just left of the air duct. its dripping down and running along the left side of the floor pan along the ridger before the sill plate and to the back where it puddles. I noticed this last time ut rained. Now that it has been rainning for more then a week here in Mass, i parked it on a hill so the nose is lower then the rear. and it just stays in the front like that. Anyone else have this problem in the 90-92 Broughams. Looks liek it has been doing it for a while, and the last/ original owner did shit about it.

Okay, here goes nothin'. The water leak from under your dash on the right side leaking onto the floor is most likely covered in this thread http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54604

The trunk leak is a problem I have as well. there are two likely canidates. The obvious one is the weather stripping around the trunk lid. Just make sure there arent any big chunks taken out of this or anything like that and it should create a nice seal.If that isnt the problem, then your in a bit of trouble. If i had a digital camera, I'd post a picture of the hole and youd get it...but ill have to try typing this out....:crying:

Take a look at the lower corners near the outside of your rear wheel wells, behind that nice trim piece. there is probly a rust hole somewhere there. itll probly be easier to find the rust hole from inside the trunk. Just pull the inside trunk decorative carpet panely pieces (Yes, that is the oficial Cadillac approved name for them) and peer down the large gaping space between your trunk floor and the outer sheet metal of the car. youll probly find the hole. if THIS is the case, youll need to either cut and weld in a patch panel for where the hole is, or find a way to plug it.Shoving garbage bags between the trunk pan and the outer sheetmetal might help keep the water out as a temporary solution, but in the long run youll probly want that fixed right.

I sealed the areas, and both spots still leak.
The trunk is comming from the seam on the right side, at the top corner of the trunk, so i ran a new seam with 3m seam sealer, and its still leaking. It may be under the metal trim piece that goes across the car, inbetween the trunk and top. How do you remove that? i see the 3 screws, but it looks to go under the top.

And the interor is the same. there is a black box under the right side of the dash, i took a hose to it and stuffed the hose under the right wiper and then went inside. You could hear water filling up/running inot that box/area, then it started to drip. its comming from the front of the box, closest to the fire wall.

Any ideas?

my parts car leaks too. a common problem i think.
