I'm trying to locate and replace my water inlet in my 91 cadi DeVille.just don't know where to look.its a 4.9 engine.

Inlet to the WP? Just follow the lower radiator hose.
Inlet to the heater core? That's on the passenger side firewall.

Thank you for your reply.but I'm trying to access the housing to remove it.just don't where to start.so I can remove,and replace it.please help..

Do anyone know if the ac compressor has to be removed to gain access to the water inlet housing bolts?

You might want to have a good look at this, defiantly at the 4:30 mark and after.
