Another one?! How many is that now this year? Man, I'm so glad to live in earthquake country. I can't remember when we had a shaker worth mentioning. I think it's kinda funny when folks say they would never live in California because they are afraid of earthquakes, yet they live in tornado, hurricane or blizzard country!! :bigroll: :hmm:
Maybe they believe the nuts who predicted that California is going to break off, fall into the ocean and make Arizona and Nevada beach front states. I wonder if that's the reason so many have moved to AZ?

If it does break off, do you think the fault will follow the state line properly? Hmmm........

Anywho.... you guys over there in south gator country be safe now, ya hear?!

I thought you were refering to some kindly old white hair lady whom you could only see her knuckles on the steering wheel and a hat above the seat that was being unleashed from the seniors "compound".

I have to say I have never had a Tropical Storm over for t'giving... ho hum.

:annoyed:

Comeon you Mother Skunk! Bring it on Gamma, I'l do my normal pre storm ritual of washing and waxing the CTS while my neighbors board up their homes and my wife yells at me asking why I'm not boarding up our windows.

AFTER Charley, Frances and Wilma this one is a WIMP!!! :want:

Fort Myers, actually we are going up your way this weekend, to St Pete beach. Just in time for the storm! This trip was already canceled and rescheduled due to Wilma!
I don't think you have much to worry about. Except some rain. I have heard so many different reports. First the say the water is to cold for it to become a hurricane, than ohhhh nooooo watch out South Florida it will be a catogory 1:histeric: . Some times the news people really make me crazy. The 1st year I lived here the first storm was coming in and was supposed to hit us directly. So I go crazy boarding up,water, and batteries ext... it turns and rides the coast at the last minute. Well who knew. Then I saw all the mistakes they continue to make and said to myself for now on I won't be really concerned unless they say it is not going to hit us.:D

I've been through a Cat 4 and Cat 3 since I've lived her and it just isn't that bad, yes, if its a direct hit or your roof is old, or whatever, but it isn't that bad.
