Brought it out for a little play time. I think she's looking decent. Gonna put her up for sale I think. You think I'd be out of line to start at $5900? She runs great at 68,000 miles and everything works except the RKE works only intermittently...even the Bose system sounds as it should.

that is really a nice looking car - inside and out - except for the wheels -
with that said -
you need to find the person LOOKING for a blue 93 Deville -
and is willing to pay BIG BUCKS -

personally - I'd say you were out of your mind -
but - I'm not the least bit interested in buying a 93 Deville -

$6000 would buy a really nice 2002 to 2005 Deville DHS -

I estimated about $3000 tops before I looked it up on KBB. For your area, mileage, model and the excellent condition your car's in KBB suggests a private party value of $2900. It's definitely a very nice car and obviously well taken care of, but it's still a 21 year old vehicle (*edit: 22 yrs).

I totally agree with that statement.

I love the car but probably wouldn't pay 6k. You'd be lucky to find someone willing. I love the 91-93s but I could just as easily find another for 1-3k and tune her up instead of paying 6k for that one. Why do you wanna sell it?

Keep that baby! She's super clean and you'll probably never find a car as nice as that (esp one that's paid off) =P

If I were looking for one, I'd be willing to do what I did with the vigor and pay ~$1,000 over book.

That car is BEGGING for a subtle gold pin stripe.

You have the original rims?

Hell yeah. I totally agree.

That made me notice, this can't be original paint?

Did you paint it? If so how much was the job??

Just remembered. I have a part of one of these on my Seville. The Cliosonne trunk key hole cover:

Very nice looking ride!

As has been mentioned already, you really need an enthusiast that is looking exactly that kind of car. Regular Joe Blow will most likely not even look at your ad when he sees the price and compares it to the others available at less than half the price.

So, might take a while before you sell it. Good luck, nevertheless.

Nice car. Too bad you aren't in NC. I've always liked these and they don't come up often. Those that do are no where close to the condition of yours. As someone else said, I'd keep it and drive it.

Touring Sedan Interior & Exterior Identifacation
Power FOLDING exterior Mirrors (ONLY model to get FOLDING mirrors)
Model Specific 16" Forged Aluminum Wheels
Traction Control
Speed Sensitive Steering
Speed Sensitive Suspension
Performance Final Drive Ratio of 2.93:1 replacing 2.73:1
ABS Anti Lok Braking

PRICING:
Coupe de Ville $ 34,540
Sedan de Ville $ 33,615
Spring Special Coupe de Ville $ 35,701
Spring Special Sedan de Ville $ 34,776
de Ville Touring Sedan $ 36,935

Sixty Special $ 37,935
Sixty Special with ULTRA Interior Pkg. $ 40,895

Of 125,963 C bodies built in 1993, 1,033 wee Touring Sedans:

202 in White
172 in Black
156 in Dark Cherry Maroon
150 in Black Sapphire Navy
136 in Slate Grey-Green
091 in Carmine Red Metallic
053 in Slate Bronze (Charcoal-Gold)
046 in Light Beige
027 in Dark Plum Purple
Total = 1,033 Made.
Less than 1 out of ever 100 C bodies were touring sedans.

It saw the lowest production of all 1993 Cadillac models.

1993 is also the rarest of all three years of production...1500 for 1991 and @5300 for 1992.

Using US survivabilty estimates for a 22 year old car, there would be 50 some left in existence.

I may want way too much, but good luck finding one that is still in decent shape. The last one I saw on EBay had 78k on it...in decent shape, but not as nice as mine and it sold with no reserve for $6700.

Well, it certainly is a beautiful car! I hope you change your mind and keep it. You'll never find anything better, nicer, whatever. You're going to regret it as soon as it goes!!!

I think if you do really want to sell it, it needs to go into a higher-end car auction (higher-end meaning NOT eBay or your local used beater car auction.) You may be able to get what you want for it in the right environment, or even by keeping it for sale locally for a few years. But it isn't going to be a quick sale sitting in your yard with a sigh on it.

You forgot fast ratio power steering =P

Dude keep it. Like rat said you'll be sad when you sell it.

Didn't know it was as rare as you say

Why do you wanna sell it? Need to buy an organ or pay hospital bills?

===========================

all very interesting -
but like I said -
the only person who would pay $6000+ for a 22 year old Sedan Deville -
will be the guy LOOKING for that exact car -

as an example -

a 2002 DHS or DTS model Deville
was priced $5000+ more than a Base model Deville -
yet they don't sell for much more than a Base model Deville today -

Yes difficult sell..... at that price.......... Besides having to stand up to a very close inspection by a serious car enthusiast - you'll need to find someone looking for that specific car. Most enthusiasts are looking for the novelty items --- something rare or somewhat different like a 2 door Fleetwood?.... You're only missing sun roof and button leather button upholstery. Best of luck and enjoy it while you have it as others have said

No tufted leather in the touring sedan. Those are touring specific seats.

I AM that one guy looking for this very model. . . have owned many and driven many more Cadillacs . . . one of my favorites was a 91 Touring Sedan that I sold 20 something odd years ago when I moved across the country and didn't have a garage space for two Cads. . . missed that car ever since.

$5900 sounds like a reasonable price to me provided it comes with original wheels. Are you located in South Dakota?
