2007 Escalade ESV 100k - I got the code P0449, light stayed on, no remote start (always happen when check engine light on) but the truck ran just fine, it just took for ever to fill tank as the nozzle kept clicking off. Replaced the Evap Solenoid Valve kit with harness (under spare tire) with the factory GM part with hoses and new vent filter. Started up, light still on, cleared code, light off for first time in weeks. Drove for 3 day, today on freeway light is back on. Check code, now it is reading P0446. I searched P0446 on this forum and zero results?????????????????

What gas station do you use?

I had BMW that was hate Costco fuel. Anytime I fueled at Costco, it would give Evaporative emission control system code.
Also it did one time when I fueled no brand gas station.

Possible causes
- Plugged vapor canister
- Faulty vent solenoid
- Pinched or blocked EVAP hose
- Faulty FTP sensor

The vent tubes solenoid and filter were replaced above to cure p0449 condition

In my opinion, I would check the vacuum lines connected to it for spiders and webs and funk.

I will have to give that a try I guess,, I'm surprised im the only one with an escalade with 0446 code reported in this forum. I had the 0449 code for 3 months before I replaced the purge valve hose and filter,, so maybe that caused something else to plug. Although not sure where to start because valve came with new hoses.
