Hey, anyone know how to find an old car that you have sold? I had a 2005 CTS-V that I sold like 5 years ago in Dallas area and would like to see if I can buy back. VIN is in title.
You could try running a CarFax on it, see if it was sold through a dealer, and then maybe contact the dealer and see if you can get the details of the buyer out of them. You'll probably need to be really nice, though.
Not a lot of red V's.....so that & a supercharger (edit:sorry i saw supercharger in bold on the registry and thought it had one) should narrow it down. (If it hasn't been killed, which would show up on a Vin search....I use auto check, and at least that is unlimited Vins for $45 (30 days I think.) That will typically also show a state/city/county new title or registration, plus registration renewals.....narrowing down a US city and a Red 05 V...would narrow it down a lot. Or try vinaudit for $13. There is publicdata.com ,......lol, not sure if that would be legal!
Download the carfax app on your phone And punch in the vin. It's a free app and shows you service reports. I can see it just pass an emissions in red oak tx. Hope this helps.
