I want to thank the guys at Quality Motorsports (http://www.quality-motorsports.com) for the installation. The owner Pat was thinking about buying a V2 but after riding in mine he should have one by Friday :). One of the guys that works for Pat (Luke) has a slick idea for intake air flow. I am gonna hold off saying anything but when Pat gets his car they will start doing some Fab for our cars. Also thank Jess for walking me through everything it took quite a few phone calls :).

The old pulley is plastic so removing it messes it up pretty bad:

I thought it would be handy to buy another snout but apparently can't buy them seperate you have to get the whole blower.

Raz asked me for a better shot of the damage on the blower driveshaft:

Picture of the new pulley on:

They had to use a drill press. A hollowed pin was used along with some heavy wire to keep it in place. I didn't want to key it.

Here is a picture with the belt on:

This is the belt you will need with a 2.55 upper and 8.5" crank:

The top end with the 2.55 blower pulley is sick guys.

I should get my V in a day or two! (Being shipped from Cali.) We need to hook up so I can check it out!
I am very familiar with Pat and Quality Motorsports...they have worked on my Vette and F-body. I was at their Customer Appreciation BBQ on Saturday...dint see any "V's" there though.
I have a garage with a full lift, Air conditioning, and a few other goodies. Let me know if you need to use it! :cool2:

See ya!

I will be back in their shop Thursday morning to do some other work if your free and want to swing by.

I will be out of town this weekend but the following weekend I am free. Was planning to meet up with the DFW Auto Club guys and race a Dinan M5 and HPF M3.

If you need help on your car let me know. I am in Grapevine so we are close by.

Love the sound of the blower... reminds me of my '03 Cobra. I'm jealous of all the mods you've done so far :) I'll get there soon enough.

Don't be too jealous because it has been pretty stressful. This is my first time modding a supercharged car so my ignorance level was high. Didn't matter how much I researched I ended up overlooking something. Done a lot of work on LS motors that were NA but that didn't help much. Felt like an idiot at times but I have learned a ton.

I lack a few things with cooling then I am done.

Getting the car dynoed on the 11th to see what this is really doing for the car. It is so hot here the numbers will prolly be low unless the heat exchanger helps a bunch.

Well I had a chance to drive the car around and get a feel for it.

I have been pleasantly surprised that I don't feel any adverse effects to the increased power. MPG, feel of the steering wheel, noise in the car (except the SC whine) feels the same as when I was running a tune only. When you hit the gas it is very responsive and smooth. No jerking or sluggishness in the tranny. The car is very deceptive in that you really don't realize how fast it is or how much power you got.

I am having problems with the ported TB and that is causing sluggishness. Spoke to Jess yesterday and he mentioned he had problems with ported 90mm TB's as well. Something about the computer throwing off torque. When I have it on the tranny feels sloppy but if I put the stock one back on everything is fine. He was saying to use a stock LS2 TB and don't port it.

When I get my stock LS2 TB back I will let you know the results.

When you say ported throttle body, did you port yours, or is this the aftermarket one that Jesse sells?

thanks,
Mark
I bought it from a shop that sells them. I think Jessie sells them as well. The one I got was completely polished. Jess mentioned the ported TB needs the edge inside or it throws off calculated torque.
