Got my Volant intake tube in the other day. Thanks Dallas. Sanded the volant decal off since it is blue and wouldn't match my engine compartment very well. Few layers of flat black and it turned out great. Still waiting on a clamp for the throttle body side so no comments:tisk: . I have a new coupler coming also for the throttle body and tube it just hasn't got here yet. It's a slick silicone finish like the reducer on my mass air flow and intake tube. Car doesn't feel a lot different but I don't have to worry about the factory tube sucking itself in anymore at high RPM. Very happy with the result though.

why buy a whole new kit. he already has a cai just wanted to replace the factory tube. this works just as good as the volant and he already had the lpe kit. just using the stock intake tube sucks. looks good

I really don't care for the enclosed box that much and the smaller filter. My top seal on the CAI seals very well against my hood and I don't think I'm having any heat issues with it. Personal preference really.
