Volant Cool Air Intake System For 2001-2004 4.6L Cadillac Deville

Cadillac Deville (2001-2004) the air opening for this kit is massive and located as far from the engine as possible. We were able to achieve superior air flow while pulling in cooler air for more power.

Features :

Volant Filter Box: Cross-link polyethylene filter box is engineered to specific design. It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus, increasing horsepower.

Volant Air Duct: Cross-link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air pass to breathe. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions gives you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response.

Volant Ram Filter: Cleanable and reusable high grade filter media reduces air restriction and increases engine output. Precision pleat geometry optimizes airflow throughout the intake system.

High Performance Silicon Connectors: High performance silicone hose connectors provides flexibility while maintains strength and thermal stability.

Stainless Steel Clamps:Marine grade clamps allows optimal performance with large operating range and available for virtually any application which requires maintainability and versatility

What the hell is this doing here? Damn advertisements and crap, I hate this. Somebody kill this thread now. There's a section for supporting vendors, that is where this belongs this is where it belongs. Also, according to Volant it does not fit the Seville or Eldorado.

Well,Volant is a well known company and many people with CTS' here have htem installed with good results. As far as the posts goes, it just came across as a little Spammish to me I guess. Here's their website if you want to see what they offer... http://www.volantperformance.com/

edit: On a side note, I think I should mention that these kits are quite expensive for the minimal gains they produce. I think the CTS kit is well over $200 from most stores.

I have one for a 01 DTS. First it makes no noticable difference in performance, but it sounds cool under the hood. Second, when installed the tubes are no different than the stock. Third, the PCM is located inside the box they have not provided any way to install the PCM inside the box other than a flatwire bar to clamp it in place. You have to put the PCM in upside down and tere is a big gap in the box where the wiring enters the box, nope its not sealed nor is there and cushioning provided for the PCM you have to make that yourself. Fourth, when your all done installing the Volant Intake opening is in the same place as the stock airbox but it in not sealed in the frame opening like the stock airbox. I bought mine for 109$, is it worth it, heck no.
