I installed my new CAI last week. It took about 30 mins. to install. The fit and finish looks great. I really like that the maf is bolted to the air box and turned so the wire connector is away from the power steering pulley. Haven't ran it on the dyno, but with my modifidied engine I don't know if it will make much difference over the More CAI. If anyone in interested in a used More CAI, I will take $125.00 plus shipping. I washed and lightly oiled the filter, so it is ready to install.

It was listed $310 (US) including shipping just the other day at proficientperformance.com. I know 'cause I've been watchin' and waitin' to accumulate that much in my piggybank ... and, I'm almost there!:yup:

They claim 18hp and 40ft/lbs of torque. The horsepower seems about right, but 40 ft/lbs of torque!? Not a chance in hell.

If you have a superchager, wait for the next version of the Volant that should be out soon...

As did I Rick...

Please shed some light, as I may have to cancel that order ASAP.

(This would be disappointing, as I specifically told the guy that I had a supercharger...)

The Volant setup for the Maggie comes with a new intake tube.

Yes, the N/A version will work using your original Maggie tube and toss out (or sell) the tube that comes with the N/A Volant kit.

I saw the Volant unit at the gathering last Saturday. Very nice/clean looking. Oh, and.......man that motor sounds fast. ;)

Nice meeting you. :)
