Have a 2007 Cadillac STS4 with 3.6 litre V6 engine. Out of the blue the car started vibrating at idle. It's as if the engine is sitting solid on the frame. I've replaced the throttle body, mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor and gas pedal with new sensor and nothing has helped with the vibration. If anyone has any clues please reply. Other than vibration at idle car runs fine. Thanks in advance!

If mounts are bad, vibration will not be spontaneous.

Check MAF sensor, spark plugs and ignition coils
Has new MAF and plugs. Runs great other than when it's at idle. If coils were bad it wouldn't run smooth while driving I wouldn't think??? Will check trans mounts because have already checked engine mounts. Thanks for replying!

For me, i would categorize vibration as normal vibration (definitely engine has vibration) and abnormal vibration.
For first case, I hope you will get luck only with mounts but for abnormal vibration, you have to catch the source causing this which is not mount.
