Just to inform everyone, the underdrive pully that goes on the vette does work on our cars. It is a different belt but it does work. The car that has the pully on it, has a stereo and has no electircal drain whatsoever on this car. Chuck the owner of HPE, has this on his car, which should also add more power to our cars.

These are usually a 5-7hp deal. I looked into these before. If a pulley and a belt are involved this may be a little costlier than I first thought. What do serpentine belts run anyway $50, $75? Aren't the pullies around $100? I've certainly spent more for less power gain. :lildevil:

Its not just a power improvement, the car also will rev up and down more quickly and respond more quickly because of the pullies. I put them on my 98 and 00 Trans Ams and loved that mod. I think I'm going to look into this. :)

It probably could be a DIY install, it was just convenient since they already had the balancer off, just decided to kill two birds with one stone. The pulleys are pretty high for the gain, probably around $300 or more.

It sounds like a mod for the NA cars. For us Maggified owners, it might not be recommended. I wonder what effects it might have on our boost with an underdrive pulley?
