Yes I did. Few of my cars remain stock for long. My Judge has a completely different suspension (70 W30 'vert), electronic ignition (Pertronix), and wheels (78 Firebird WS6 15x8 snowflakes) than stock. If done forty years ago is it a restomod ?
Back when I ordered my '70 GS, it was with AM radio (did not have a radio accommodation package then) and I had both the FM stereo/8 track and a cruise control (n/a with 4 speed ) waiting for it to arrive. Used to beat Z/28s in autocrosses with a Buick ? Interesting thing about a 70 GS is that you could swap the speedo with the tach & put the tach where you could see it. (Dash tach was much more readable than the hood tach. Had a body colored bumper and 15x7 wheels with dog-bone Dunlops. 3.42 posi. and AC.
15.5mm drill should be here today, 39/64th was not big enough to open hub up for 10mm longer studs so 5 spoke wheels will clear the front brake calipers on the CTS. Is just what I do. Is much easer now than just a few years ago but have been reprogramming cars since my Fiero days.
BTW one thing confuses me: on Street Outlaws I see the racers spending much time with computers trying to limit tire spin/shake. Why don't they just use traction control ?
Also just got a notice from Woot that they had a SM-G935V (Galaxy S7 Edge with a big screen), unlocked/Verizon for a buck and a half. How could I resist.
