Ventilated seat question

My husband had a 2013 XTS with ventilated seats. We live in Texas where the summer heat can be brutal, so I used this feature all the time when it was hot. They worked great. I could feel a dramatic difference when I turned them on. And they were quiet.?

Since he no longer drives due to health issues, last fall we decided to trade his XTS and my 2022 GMC Terrain in on a new vehicle that was easier for him to get in and out of and that was comfortable to ride in.

I wanted a SUV and ventilated seats were the one feature I was adamant the vehicle have. Although not my first choice, we found a great deal on a 2023 Cadillac XT6 with all the bells and whistles.

When summer rolled around and I started using the ventilated seats, I noticed they did not cool as good as the XTS seats. The fan also is very loud.

I plan on taking it to the dealership to have it checked out but in the meantime I thought I’d see if anyone else has experienced this issue. (I know the seats are not air conditioned.)

‘23 here and my seat fans are really loud, but I only occasionally THINK I feel some cool air on my backside.

This is my 13th new Cadillac , and the only ones that truly cooled for me were my ‘06 & ‘08 DTS. The Escalades that followed were passable, but the XT6 has been disappointing. Of course, I had the dealer service check them, and received the usual “working as designed, no issues found” response.
