Thanks in advance for your help.

1. I’m trying to find out the torque specs for the bolts on the valve cover or camshaft cover for 2014 Cadillac XTS.

2. I have this oil burning smell coming through my vents that recently started. My guess is that my rear valve cover is leaking oil on the exhaust. I can see the front valve cover and can’t see any leaks. I can see oil leaking from under the vehicle but cannot pinpoint the exact location. It’s coming from the middle of the vehicle on the side of the transmission. I’m going to be replacing the rear valve cover. Is there any other thing else that can cause a burning oil smell coming through the vents?

Thank you, Ridi.

Does it leave a film on the windshield? or vents? if so wipe your finger on the glass and touch it to your tongue tip - taste sweet? then its antifreeze and your heater core is likely the culprit, a oil leak would be very noticeable when you open the hood and sniff around

That few molecules of antifreeze is harmless...

Finally tracked down the leak. It’s coming from the bottom middle of dashboard. I think this is the heater core section. I put the car only on cold 60F temperature and the smell was gone. I think it’s definitely the heater core. I was able to access the heater core by pulling out the carpet near the middle console and removing a plastic part from middle console. The pipe are being held by a cover with 4 screws and the it seem like the heater core just pops out. I’ll post a picture. Anyone know if it’s this simple to replace this?
