I think it dropped a valve but I haven't taken the motor apart. It sounded like popcorn in the top end, and I had a mechanic listen to it & he said he thought valve train & possibly a bent rod. It has 133,xxx miles. I had head gaskets done at ~112,000 along with new a/c compressor & some front end parts. Tires only have ~10k. It has a coil set replaced not too many miles back. Tranny is perfect.

in running condition
it might be worth as much as $3500 - maybe $4000 -
IF the inside and the rest of the car looks as nice as what's pictured -

all you have now is a parts car - $1000 to $1500

It barely ran the last time I started it, which has been awhile. The motor is definitely damaged & will need replaced or rebuilt IMO. Thanks for the responses, I will list it in the classifieds here & craigslist locally.

Edit to say the rest of the car & the interior are equally nice. It was a great car, I hope a Cadillac lover will bring it back to life!

Well that sucks. Unfortunately, basscatt is right on as far as value goes. There are people looking for a clean project car though. Clean it up, and take lots of pictures. Good luck.
