I've got a 2009 CTS-V, never had any major problems and completed 100K service within the past few months. As of last night the car won't start- auxiliary and electric turns on as normal, but engine won't turn over. Check engine light turns on, but there's no error message. Similar to if the steering wheel was locked, but that's not it and I've played around with turning the steering wheel while trying to start.

Any ideas I should try before calling the dealership? Thanks

How old is your battery? These cars most definitely are quite sensitive to low power/bad batteries.

BTW, get your CEL read. Obviously there has been a code thrown. I would read that before investing any money other than a battery.

It was just battery- car started fine 3 days later, upon inspection all CEL codes were low voltage. Battery replaced, no issues since. Back to rowing gears, life is good! Thanks for the help
