Traded this in and a 2010 Cayman S with only 2900 miles. They bought a 2012 CTS-V Coupe and a 2012 Escalade.


I'd take a guess they gave him around 17-20K trade value.

It's tempting just to get the engine! Hell, I've got a new LS6 longblock sitting in my garage. Buy the car, swap the engine, sell the car, put the 427 in my '05. :devil:

 

I've been racking my brain all day on how to get this thing for the motor. Wife would freaking kill me though if I pulled it out of our savings...Why did I bind myself to another decision maker by contract?

Well I got the funds together and was going to pull a motor swap and gone like the wind...Dealer said it was sold last night to a guy in Florida.

Yeah, people taking advantage of opportunities to make money suck! Only car dealers should be allowed to flip cars for profit.

i dont see a problem with people buying cars to make money, i do it all the time as much as possible. i buy low, and sell for market value, if i really like the car then i keep it. i have bought and sold 30 cars/trucks in the last 5 years, made a bit of money on pretty much every car accept my old sts, i loved that car so i kept it to long to make a profit.
why should dealers be the only ones that can make money off selling cars?
