Urb's came over at noon and I let him have a go behind the wheel. I thought he was gonna let loose on the thing, as when I first met him he gave me quite a hell ride in his V :spin: But I cautioned him that dodge does not equip the viper with any stability or traction control devices. so he took it easy on her.
We headed to find a suitable race area but were hampered with sunday drivers everywhere. We finally did some frontage road racing 3-4 from a roll 1st gear and 1-2 from a stop.
Urb's is a good driver despite his modesty I am OK. The Urbymobile did quite well against the viper. 1st seem to be even and second was even thru half the gear (vipers gears that is) at 1/2 thru 2nd gear the viper started to wake up and was pulling I stoped at 100 or so and think I was 2 maybe 3 cars ahead at that speed. (hard for me to judge thru that small side mirror).
I am sure if we keep going the viper would widen the gap exponentialy as urbs explained but that was too fast for these particular roads.
As urby left i was parked in a conveinence stop haveing a smoke and his car sounded SICK!!!!! Man did it sound good!!!!!! He did a burn out at the stop sign and the dude in the lot were like
Although the B&B with x-pipe and headers is too loud for me as my daily driver it is one BADASS sound. much coller that the vipers odd firing V10
WE will re match later when i have some time on the car and learn her a bit better.
BTW I am getting the car NEW nver titled ('04 model year) for 65K sitcker was 85K .............. sound good????
