I've had the V exhaust on for a week and can give it an enthusiastic thumbs-up! Throttle response is quicker and acceleration is more urgent. I can hear the Volant more, so it's definitely pumping more air through the system. The sound is not too quiet, not too loud, just right.

Do you feel that you lost torque when you take off honestly? From what I understand and I am not saying is true but Corsa told me they chose to go with 2 1/4 pipe because they notice loss of torque in the low end when they tested the 2 1/2 pipe. Bigger pipe gives better flow but too big will make you loose back pressure.

Talked to an exhaust specialist here, and he said the same thing. You do improve the flow and you gain on the high end, but you lose torque in the lower rpm range. He suuggested keeping the same diameter pipe, use an x-pipe and bolt after market mufflers on the back end. So far that has proved to be difficult to find an aluminum X-pipe to fit unless someone now's were to get one at 21/4" dia. Anyone know were to go?

I know what you're saying - I had a similar experience with a past GM 5.3L truck. However, on the CTS I definitely don't feel any loss of low end torque. From the seat-of-the-pants POV, it feels stronger and revs more willingly.

We've had numerous members go the CTS-V exhaust route and no one has reported any loss of power but to the contrary. The larger pipes also gives us a jump start on any ESC, SC or Turbo additions

:) Sounds better. :) Looks better with the stout tips.
 Have not "felt" any difference in performance. But I would still recommend the modification based on cost involved.
