v-exhaust price new

anybody have any ideas on what the v exhaust system would cost purchasing it new? i have been thinking of going this route on my 3.2 litre but cannot find any used ones in ontario canada. im thinking it may still be cheaper to buy a new v-exhaust then buying a corsa or borla system. and im a little worried that a borla may be a little to loud and the corsa would be to close to a stock v system to warrant the expense of the corsa over the stock v system.

any thoughts?

I believe that cost is at $815 GM Parts direct plus shipping($667 for the 3.6 system) If I might suggest as a person who has this mod, that you check with the muffler shop for the same pipes, custom bent and then buy the resonator and both mufflers for the V, or check the junkyards. Still too much for what you get in this case I think, but check cost to see if this is an option. The reason I went this mod was listening to the sound clips and the fact of the low cost. There are V exhausts to be had for around 100 bucks. but the shipping would cost you $300 -$400 minimum due to the weight 60-70 lbs and the size nearly 10 feet in length.Good Luck on your search!
Thanks. so it is possible to purchase the two mufflers and the resonator seperately then? i will invesitage the price of the pieces by themselves as well then. unfortunetly there not many cts-v to be had around here so it make the options quite limited.
I imagine the new exhaust will come in pieces requiring a lot of additional welding and $$. You might be better off getting a Corsa or Borla.:hmm:
I would probably be even cheaper to go a custom exhaust route.

The V exhaust is nothing more than 2.5" pipe which makes you loose torque. Why get V mufflers and resonator better to go with Magnaflow mufflers you will get a better sound Let me know and I will tell you what mufflers to get and resonator then you just find a exhaust shop that will mandrel bend the pipe and use 2.25" pipe you will actually gain performance and torque instead of loosing torque by using a V exhaust.
GEEZ!! Enough already with the 2.25" vs 2.50". We hearYa.:bonkers:
