I've had the usual Catera coolant leaks - HCV, water pump, etc, but this is a new one.

It leaks on the ground under the driver's side of the radiator. It doesn't leak when parked overnight, and for about the first 20 minutes of driving. Then when you park after 20 min, it will start to leak after about 2 minutes.

But here is the funny thing - it leaks cold coolant! The car is thoroughly warmed up and you can feel the hoses to the radiator are hot. It drips for 5 - 10 minutes and then stops. I can lose as much as a cup of coolant each time.

There doen't seem to be any leaks in hoses.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Barry

Best bet is to use a pressure tester and pressurize the system up to 25psi and wait and see what drips from where.. Could be a crack in the end tank which is not really common but does happen as it did to me.
